Watt-On Electrical Ltd is the data controller for the personal information you share with us. Here's what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
The information.
Name, address, email, phone number and a description of the work you're enquiring about. For commercial clients, business name and PO reference. For paid work, the invoicing address.
We never collect payment card details directly — payments are processed by our bank or Stripe.
Why we hold it
Lawful basis.
- Quotation & job delivery — legitimate interest and contract performance
- Certification records — legal obligation under BS 7671 and Part P
- Invoicing & accounts — legal obligation under HMRC record-keeping (7 years)
Your rights
What you can ask us to do.
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations). Contact hi@wattonelectrical.co.uk.
You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk if you believe we've mishandled your data.
