The plain-English terms on which we quote for and deliver electrical work. Anything specific to a job is captured on that job's quotation.
Quotations
How pricing works.
Written quotations are valid for 30 days and are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Any variation to the scope after acceptance is priced in writing before work continues.
Emergency callouts are charged at the rate stated on the /pricing page unless otherwise agreed.
Payment
Terms of payment.
- Domestic jobs under £500 — payable on completion
- Domestic jobs £500–£3,000 — 50% on start, 50% on certificate
- Larger projects — 30% on start, 40% mid-point, 30% on certificate
- Commercial retainer clients — 14-day payment terms unless agreed otherwise
Warranty & liability
What we stand behind.
Workmanship on installation work carries a 12-month warranty. Manufacturer warranties on supplied products (typically 1–3 years) are passed through in full.
Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. £5m public liability insurance covers third-party damage on site. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
