FAQs
Good questions.
How long does a full house rewire take?
A typical 3-bed takes 5–8 working days. We can phase the work room-by-room if you're living in.
Do I need a new consumer unit?
If yours is a plastic-cased board with rewireable fuses or no RCD protection, an upgrade is usually recommended on safety grounds. We'll tell you honestly at the survey.
What is an EICR and how often do I need one?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report inspects fixed wiring for safety. Landlords must have one every 5 years; owner-occupiers on the same schedule as best practice.
Do you certify the work?
Yes — every installation leaves site with NICEIC-standard test results and an electrical installation certificate.
